Prior to his retirement in May of 1991, Fritz Reinhardt was chairman of Ryder System's Automotive Carrier Division in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Previous to that he was President of the Automotive Carrier Division of Ryder, which was a position he held since 1979. He held executive positions in automobile transport companies since 1954 and joined Ryder Systems in 1968 when Convoy Inc was acquired by tion Ryder.
