TABOR LILLIE MAE JORDAN September 15, 1919- August 21, 2008. Lil Tabor had a passion for life that she shared with everyone she met. Ms. Tabor touched the lives of so many as a preschool teacher and later as a Senior Aide working with the City of Detroit, Recorders Court and the IRS. She was a graduate of Cass Tech and attended Wayne State University.

WELLS HARRIET B. Age 60, on August 27, 2008 lost her brave struggle against a debilitating neurological disease attributed to the polio she had contracted as a child and passed away in Beaumont Hospital surrounded by loving family. She was widowed at a very early age with two young sons to care for, Byron E. (Kismet) Coons and David B. Coons.

She met and later married John S. "Jack" Wells, a widower also with two young sons, John S. (Jan) Wells III and Mark (Linda) Wells. Their marriage would have reached the milestone of 50 years had she lived until October 1 6th of this year. Harriet is survived by her loving husband, her four sons, and five beautiful grandchildren, Gretchen, Katie, David Madeline, and River.

She Is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Maud Breitmeyer, and brothers, Philip and Howard Breitmeyer. He was bom in Niagra Falls. New York, on February 3, 1926, the son of the late James T. Brady, Sr. and Margaret O'Connor. A graduate and stand out athlete of LaSalle High School, he was invited to play football at the University of Notre Dame by legendary athletic director, Frank Leahy.

His studies and football career at Notre Dame were derailed by World War II. Rather than start school, he served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. After the war, he re-Jtwrned to college and football, first at St. Mary's College in California, then at the 'University of Buffalo.

Jim moved on to the ranks and played tor the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on the CFL. He completed 'Ifts studies in graduate school at the University of Michigan. Much of Jim's career in business took place In the Detroit auto industry. In addition to his career at Magna International (retired), he was President of the Crestwood Board of ''Education in Dearborn Heights, Ml. Addi- anally, he was a candidate for the State egistlature in Michigan.

He and his wife -fjdna Lofstedt raised 4 children. He was predeceased by his daughter Linnea Mas-iftey. He is survived by his wife Edna, his fsons. James (Tracev). and Patrick (Jenni- ltftr) his daughter Meghan (Chris) Gles, his 10 grandchildren anemone great grandson.

Jim was an avid goffer and a member of -Winstar Country Club in Naples, FL. He was a member of the St. Brendan on the Lake R. C. Church in Wilson, New York.
