Betty Jean, Valerie (William) McNeece, Paul (Sue), Thomas (Peggy), Donna, and Clover (Jim) Agnello; cherished grandmother of of 34. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Ann. A native of southeast Michigan, she graduated from Highland Park High School in 1935 and from The Detroit Conservatory of Music in 1938. Betty was an avid quilter and quilting instructor at the Farmington Longacre Community House. She retired from the Farmington Public Schools.

She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church for several decades and a long time member and officer of the PEO local chapter. Dick worked in advertising at McCann-Erickson for thirty years before retiring in 2000.

His interests included golf, ski ing, photography, travel, time with friends and enjoy ing their residence on Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City where he and Anita moved this past August. Dick will be remembered for sense of humor, compassion and how his presence lit up a room. Born April, 1, 1926, Bud is survived by his wife of 60 years Justine Olson Kulka; five sons, Terry (Patricia), Bob (Susan), Ed (Sally), Harvey (Julie), and John (Christine); eight grandchildren, Michael (Kristina) Kulka, Matthew (Jessica) Kulka, Emily (Rob) Hann, Mark (Tammy) Kulka, Phoebe Kulka, Kelly (Kyle) Kidder, Emmet Kulka, and Helen Kulka; six great-grandchildren, Natalie Kulka, Isaac Hann, Anthony Kulka, Caleb Hann, Brandon Kulka, and Nolan Kidder; his sister Jean Posselius; and cousin Margaret Eitel. He was preceded in death by his daughter Justine Clarkin (June 2010). Bud leaves his springer spaniel, Toby behind but is reunited with his previous dogs Joe and Ginger. Bud graduated from De La Salle Collegiate High School in 1944 and immediately joined the Merchant Marines. At the conclusion of his duty, he attended the University of Michigan graduating in 1949.

His professional career mirrored the evolution of the computer industry. He began with IBM in the early years of computer development and then spent the majority of his life with Chrysler automotive as a computer executive. Near the end of his working years, Bud worked side by side with his son, Harv, and daughter, Justine at Computer Methods Corporation. Bud and Justine raised their family in Grosse Pointe, Michigan before retiring to Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1984. While in Ann Arbor, Bud could be found wearing his hat singing "Hail to the Victors" on Saturday afternoons in the fall.

MOORE MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" DARNELL, age 93, peacefully passed away on November 11, 2010 in McKinleyville, California. Betty was a life-long Detroiter who spent the last 8 years in California to be near her daughter, Jean.

Betty was born on February 8, 1917 to Albertus and Elsie McDonald Darnell. She graduated from Northern High School and Wayne State University, where she received a Lifetime Elementary Teacher's Certification. She taught for several years in the Wyandotte School System before marrying Keith Paul Moore in 1943. Betty was a long-time Huntington Woods rest dent, belonging to the Huntington Woods Study Club, and doing research for "The History of Huntington She was a member of Delta Gamma Chi and Mu Phi Epsilon. She had a love of music, playing piano and organ.

She sang in the choir of North Congregational Church where she was an active member. Betty volunteered at United Community Services and Volun teer Action Center, where she chaired the Friendly Visitors Program. She loved the family cottage on Lake Louise, and was active in many endeavors there. She felt that Lake Louise was "heaven on earth" Betty was predeceased by her husband Keith, and sister Margaret (Charles) Wolfe. She is survived by her children Robert (Karen) Moore and Jean (Ron) Warner; grandchildren Joel Moore and Lisa (Troy) Helmick; and great-grandchildren Madison and Jackson Helmick.

Richard graduated from Detroit Catholic Central, went on to the University of Detroit, and later graduated from University of Detroit Law School. He had numerous career paths which included an Accountant at General Motors, Wayne County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Legal Advisor to the Michigan State Police Organized Crime Task Force, Workmans Compensation Appeals Court Judge, a Partner with Brennan, Bibeau and Poehlman, and ended with running his own Private Practice. Richard loved being part of the Detroit Tiger Dream Fantasy, the Irish American League and the Alumni Association at Detroit Catholic Central. Arrangements were entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home.

PRAIS ROBERT (BOB) FRANKLIN, 74, of Farmington Hills Michigan, died November 26, 2010. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on October 25, 1936 to James Hitchcock and Ola Bullington, Robert graduated from Milan High School in 1955. He was married to Ann Marie (Korican) Hitchcock on August 12, 1955.
