Ohio bottled up Michigan! inrougout the contest with an old fashioned seven-man line and the barks set in a diamond secondary neiense. I nrougnoul th first hslf, Michigan desperately was trying to get out of ita own territory to resort to Ritchie's passing. But the Michigan team only got out of that territory one during th gam and th Buck stopped the drive on their 13. Ohio Miller. McDonald. Wasylik and Nardi ere th most versatile bark on th field. That was because Ohio line outplayed Michigan and added much to the value of all Ohio backs. The Ohio line slowed Michigan passing game.

Ohio line turned in Michigan tackle attack. From end to end. the Rurkv front wall waa too tough for any offens of Mlchigana. And forced to tske to the air. the Wolverine found that the Buck ey secondary was form ids ble in-deed at pas defence with Wasylik railing mis aepartment.

Both attempted 12 passe and completed four. The difference here waa the fact that 50 per cent of the Buckeye passes scored touchdowns Michigan suffered four Intercepted passes and Ohio three advantage Ohio. Wasylik. Miller and Kabealo, Buckeye puntera, amassed the startling average of 49 5 yarda throughout the game. No kickers have done better than that against Michigan In many years Purucker average was a creditable 34 5 yards.

Ohio won because it dominated Michigan In punting, passing, rushing and perhaps most important of all line play. OHIO STAT! M-k tl 1 1r 1 f.mrn 'R ii aplM f' a llltT i- I. k1e-brM Mln.t4 h'" Mirmr, lSlrhMffi RrftfiMi PlOflriH rmtt Farinr otl tat 9 -f Tnwliitmr-J 1 II refl. rntnf ptxfi nO. M.
