Col. Ingram, who retired after World War II service on the staff of Gen. Douglas Mac-Arthur, died Saturday in Sarasota. He served as commander of the state district from 1931 to 1937. A NATIVE of New York and IARRY SUFFRIM TA i a graduate of Lehigh University, he was appointed a lieutenant of cavalry in 1916 and saw World War I and action in Mexico during the expedition against Pancho Villa.

He attended the General Staff School in Fort Leaven worth, before coming to Michigan. While in Detroit, he married Barbara Parker, of Utica, who survives him. Also surviving are a son, Michael, and a daughter, Merrell. WKL ti. MAIER A vro i president of Campbell-Ewald jsir.
