They were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wyandotte, where her parents had married after emigrating from Poland. The couple renewed their wedding vows on Aug.

The original bridal party also included the late Edward Bojanowski and the late Leonard Antolczyk. The couple's children hosted a dinner celebration after the mass at Polonus Restaurant in Wyandotte. Friends and family dined on Polish dishes and were musically entertained by the couple's sons-in-law and granddaughter Maria Pawlowski.

Their children (and spouses) are Paulette Moczul of Lansing, Phyllis (Cass) Pawlowski of Southgate, and Cindy (Terry) Hopman of Canton. They also have seven grandchildren.
