Provleion for changes In the organization of the state government, Judiclaryr county home rule, consolidation of eft and county units, and scientific tax system are among the subjects which a constitutional convention may be aaked to consider should the voters decide for revision of Michigan's basic law next year. The state constitution provides that at the general election In November, 12, the people shall vote on the question of holding such a convention, the question to be submitted to the voters in a form whtrh will be decided by the 192f lKlIa-ture.

If a majority of th voters are In favor of the convention, threa delegates will be elected from ing, a simpler statement pf who may vote, the legal residence of married women, apportionment, the legislative council. Following ih the history of constitutional revision aa given in the pamphlet: "The first constitution of Michigan was prepared by a constitutional convention of 89 members elected in pursuance of an act of the territorial council, and which sat in Detroit from May 11 to June 27, 1835. The section relating to changd and revision was incorporated into this document. "in pursuance of this section a convention was authorized by the people and met at Lansing from June 3 to August 15.
