George Schlatter, who made his mark with TV's "Laugh-In" series, gets credit as producer, director and co-screenwriter. Under his guidance, the material gets precisely the kind of sleazy production it deserves, even to shooting the thing on videotape and then transfering it to film, a process that makes one feel as if one were watching the movie on a television set badly in need of repair. The image is grainy, the light flickers, the figures have multiple "ghosts."
